Design / Build Services
Whether you already have the design plans for your church project, or are still in the planning phase, we can help.
What does “Design/Build” mean for your church building project?
Church ConstructionIf you haven’t already obtained your design plans from an architect, let our staff assist you in determining what can be built within your budget. Often times a church comes to us with well laid design plans in hand only to find that the cost to build according to the plans will exceed the church’s approved budget.
We work closely with your church staff and building committee members to gather requirements, explain capabilities, prioritize needs, and collaborate to compile a preliminary design that can be developed within your budget, with confidence. Our clients are intimately involved in the design phase of the project while our experienced engineers and consultants help keep the project within budget so there are no surprises.
Measure Twice, Cut Once…
Although architects are capable of designing a beautiful church building, when we employ our many years of experience during the design phase we are able to give our customers valuable input that otherwise may not be incorporated into their design and would cost them more money later in the project . We can address common problems and intricacies up front rather than having to go back to the drawing board time and again. This process helps to ensure an aesthetically appealing, yet functional building without the enormous unnecessary design costs churches often face due to budget constraints and unique needs.
Client Comes First
Once a preliminary design has been completed, the project has been bid out, and the budget established, we then finalize the plans and the Final Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is established. Although most other builders offer internal architectural services, we work with outside architectural firms, which assures our client that in doing so the architect will have the duty of protecting the interests of the church should problems arise during the building project that the builder may not want the owner to know about.
